If i have a outdoor generator with a output circuit breaker where the conductors enter the building am I required to have another OCPD or can I land the conductors directly in the transfer switch?
Question #2 I know I have seen before but could not find it, I was looking at a heat pump installation that indicated two compressors for each package each compressor is indicated at 22.4 fla it also indicates the MCA to be comp.#1*1.25+comp#2 it then states the recommended fuse size to be 2.25*comp#1+comp#2. my question if the installation guide indicates fuses, what about a breaker but I thought I read somewhere that if the installation guide calls for fuses and no recommendations for a circuit breaker that you had to provided a fused disc. switch before the device control panel? is this true and where could I find this requirement?? thanks.
