Two small appliances per kitchen?

What is the proper interpretation for 210.11 and 210.52? Should we have two small appliance circuits per kitchen? I am supervising a 5000 sq ft house and I ran two circuits to the main kitchen, two to the chef’s kitchen and two to the outdoor kitchen. Each room/area has a sink, cooking equipment and countertop space for food prep.

Yeah unfortunately I didn’t do the bid for the house and I don’t think my company interprets the code this way. So I likely lost us some money by adding additional circuits where not bid for it. We basically ran dedicated circuits for every installed appliance in the house. It’s been a pain in my ass to be frank.

FWIW, I would not have run only two Kitchen circuits. At very least the outdoor kitchen would have its own pair with the other two sharing.
Understand, I rarely did housing after my early years of more than enough of them.
Perhaps you misunderstood. I ran 6 circuits in total. 2 to each area I determined that was a “kitchen”.
