I have a project where owner wants to feed a panel 400Amps (277/480) from two different breakers (200Amps trip each) in the main switchgear. Is this possible to do? Does the code allows such arrangement?

Thanks in Advance

Yes can be done but not at the same time. Will need breaker interlock, Kirk key, or manual transfer switch.
It's an interesting question, I am not sure what the appropriate code rule is.

It would be an issue of parallel protective devices and conductors

If the customer wants 400A of capacity by paralleling two 200A feeders on separate breakers, then this is likely not a viable approach.

If the owner wants redundancy by being able to select between two feeders then there are ways to do it.

If the OP is wanting to connected them in parallel 240.8 (2011) is the article section.
