Are there any restrictions regarding direct burial of XLPESWA cable in same trench as piping for gasoline dispensing pumps in Class 1 Div 1 or Div 2. Additionally NEC code does not make reference to the use of XLPESWA (European) and the use of EXE Glands with seal as option to meet requirement in accordance with Section 514. The work is taking place in accordance with NEC Code.

If you are planning on installing electrical equipment and wiring in accordance to the NEC, but use materials and equipment not recognized by the code, approval will be needed by some authoritive body in addendum to the specifications of the work.

Not being familiar with "XLPESWA" cable, I do not know its listed use and intended construction application.

How are things going in Iraq? Any good stories? :)
