UF cable Overhead

Would like to know if UF cable can be used between garage and house overhead. Less than 50 ft away, and willing to use messenger wire if I have to.

This design is without rigid; and would like to use weatherproof boxes at both ends.

As overhead cable, except where installed as messenger-supported wiring in accordance with part 2 of article 396.
