UF cable

I have outside condensing unit and panelboard is inside apartment unit. From the panelboard branch circuit wire used is UF goes up attic to outside where the condensing unit is.

I am not sure I looked NEC 2014 Section 340.10, 340.12 but UF is it allowed in attic and exposed outside?

Yes. UF may be used anywhere NM may.

Almost anywhere NM is permitted, in addition to where NM is not.
