UF wiring in the house

I have to replace flood damaged Romex/MC/BX in a crawl space Wire for wire. Considering this could happen again next hurricane season is it Ok to wire it all in type UF wiring so replacement wont be necessary when this happens again? Also i would use stainless steal staples for good measure.
