Hey everyone,
I have a customer with a 100A subpanel feed to his outbuilding and its direct burial. The old outbuilding burned down and he is putting a new one in its place using the same feed, as it wasn't damaged. The problem is that there is no equipment ground from the main panel to the sub. The feed has been covered in concrete and not sure I can install an aerial EGC by itself (even if I could Im not sure it is practicable due to trees and other structures and the customer not wanting it done this way
). Basically, I am trying to avoid digging up concrete or having the EGC bored. Any suggestions on how to accomplish this and still be compliant?
