UL 66.3.4 requires a bonding conductor to be factory supplied between the control panel enclosure and a door containing electrical components operating at more than 30Vrms.

Is a bonding conductor still required if there are no electrical components mounted on the door?

NFPA 79 2007 chapter 8 grounding 8.2.3.6 Door and Covers

8.2.3.6.1 Where electrical devices are mounted on conductive doors and covers, and equipment (protective) bonding jumper shall be installed.

8.2.3.6.2 Where required, an equipment (protective) bonding jumper shall connect the conductive door or cover to the equipment enclosure or to an equipment (protective bonding) terminal within the enclosure.
