UL Certification

[E-Z Prewired J Box]

I have developed and patented a prewired electrical J Box assembly that simplifies the installation process for recessed lighting or other fixtures. I want to go to a assembly company. I need to know do I need UL certification and if so what are the steps.

The first step would be to know what product standard applies to your product and make sure that you design complies with that standard. A lot of money and time will be wasted if you try to have a product listed that does not comply with the product standard.
