UL listing

Can a 2" hole be drilled through the back of the utility side of a service panel? Can a 2" hole be drilled through the divider between the utility and the customer sides? If this does not violate the listing then what would be the correct way to plug such holes?

I would not be worried about UL, I would be worried about how the power company will feel about it.

I agree that one should definitely contact the POCO.
Some of the meter enclosures do have listings to be followed, after a quick search of my pics, here is one.

:mad: I assure you that we would have a problem with that as well since we are concerned about current diversion :mad:
and anything that might let someone mess around with our cash register (meter).
