Hello,

Does anyone have any experience with the UL MTR training test?

Is there a link to sample test questions to allow us to prepare?

Thank You and Best Regards,

Burch

The test is not that hard in my opinion. It is open book and you only have to get I think 80%. If you are conversant with the standard you should not have any trouble passing the test. However if you don't know much about the standard I don't think any test questions are going to do much good for you.

UL does have some online training material. If I recall correctly it's not real cheap to use but it's something that's available.

Thank You. I have just completed the MTR training UL provides on-line course. Also have access to the UL standards via the UL "library". Maybe I am making more of this that I need to....

The questions seem to be more or less in order of the answer that is to be found in the standard except there was one question I just guessed at because it would have required me to look something up on their web site. Don't recall exactly what it was.

You do need to have a good understanding of how to calculate sccr or you will have trouble there is a whole section on that.
