What is the effect of the unbalanced loads (3 phase) on the main upstream breaker and what is the acceptable unbalance current?

Under otherwise nominal operating conditions (meaning no short-circuit or overcurrent condition), no adverse effect. Acceptable unbalance is 0-100% of the circuit ampacity rating as long as it is not an unbalance by design.

If the breaker has GF protection unbalanced loads can cause it to trip on ground faullt, depending on the configuration of the system and the type of GF sensing and relay used.
