H hardworkingstiff Senior Member Location Wilmington, NC May 28, 2006 #2 Assuming linear loads and no harmonics: Single phase would be the difference between amps on the A leg and the amps on the B leg (sharing the neutral). Three phase would be: SQRT[(A*A+B*B+C*C)-(A*B+B*C+A*C)]
