When doing voltage recording and taking amp reading on a motor what limit should the % differance of a high and low reading between phases be ? Any helpful tips will be greatly appreciated.
I am not sure when to think there is a cause for concern with motors . Thanks for the help.
 
You might want to check out fluke's web site. As I recall they have some good technical papers on motor voltage and current imbalance.
 
It is for troubleshooting when checking for things like motor tripping out and i need to find the cause so I would start with the voltage and amp readings.
Will check on flukes web site for additional help.
