Undercounter lighting

Undercounter lighting

We have installed tons of undercounter lighting and by far the best is Kinchler. They have got some great undercounter lighting zion I think is the best type they offer

I do a ton of under cabinet lighting, too. I love the Seagull Ambince product. Stay away from puck lighting for lighting countertops.

Kichler and Juno make some nice products, but the Seagull is smaller allowing it to be installed less conspicuously, and is much easier to install. With the Kichler, you have tracks to cut and join IIRC.

thanks
i did a search for seagull ambiant and it brought
me to a hocky puck style which you said to stay away from
any specific stock number you can give me

Pet peeve alert!!! Under counter lights ???:-? :D

Anyway for undercabinet lights I have used hundreds of the NSL brand with hardly a problem.

The only problem with xenon lighting undercabinet is heat. I would rather warm white fluorescents. But here in California we have "title 24" that requires 50% of total kitchen lighting Wattage be "high efficacy" aka fluorescent. This includes the hood lights and nook lights. I hear that Oregon, Navada, Utah and afew other states are going to impose this code soon. Anyhow this means we are putting in lots of fluorecsents and few xenons.
