Looking for input and recommendations on how others have transitioned from an underground ductbank stub up into cable tray.
I have two sides of the duct bank.
Side one is unclassified. Side two is class I div. 2
On the unclassified side I am debating using CGBs on each conduit to protect the conduit from water ingress/ other debris. I don't like this idea because this will necessitate pulling a significant distance through the CGB. I have read that in the 2020 NEC I can transition using a bushed conduit. If this is the case what have people used to protector the open top of the bushing from ingress from the environment?
One the class I div. 2 side I plan on using an explosion proof seal, since the ug portion of the conduit is unclassified, but after the seal can I use the bushed conduit again to get to the tray?
