I would like to ask what some of you use to maintain required distances between conduits underground. I use the plastic black or white base spacers in each row. Example four 4" pvc on bottom and four 4" on top. Eight duct bank. Is this what most of you use? I saw pictures of other companies web sites and see wood strapping and other things holding conduits together. Got an underground inspection and the inspector said he never sees them used. What do you use? Thanx

I agree. A few of us were talking about the right materials for the job even if it cost a little more can save a lot of money on the labor install.

material is a known quantity (if you do you're job right:D)..labor is the wildcard, and an expensive one at that....

anytime i can trade material expense for labor savings, i'm there...so long as my net is equal or better...

if you're feeling generous...
have some gravel laid in the bottom of that trench.

You'll get 2 more hours a day production from each guy otherwise mired in mud.

might wanna run that past the poco....here we have to sand, no gravel allowed...
