Underground Electrical pull etiquette

I am putting in underground wiring between buildings. The idea is that I come up out of the ground, hit a pull box, then the EC will core drill through the back of the box into the building. The pull box is mainly there to make it easier on the EC to pull the cable from out of the ground. I don't know if that does make it easier though. From an EC's perspective, is there a "best method"?

why not let the EC decide the best way for him to do it.
