Underground service Marking

I was wondering when we install underground conduit for electrical service if we need to put special mark ups or warning on the conduit for future.

Yes, I've been arguing with inspectors for years about that one when using conduit.

So when we have conduit we don’t need the tape.

FWIW, I've always marked it. I didn't realize it was just for direct burial cable.

That is correct, however you may find that the utility company requires it it they own the underground conductors.
