underground splice boxes

I have a 800' underground conduit run for a well. I figure to install a underground splice box in the middle of the run. I see no or cant find a code that states furthest distance in between splice boxes or maximum conduit run with out them. am i even required to install a underground conduit run of this distance.

There is no code requirement for a pull box as long as you don't have more than 360 degree of bend. The distance rule is urban legend. Under the right circumstances of proper design and pulling equipment it should not be a problem. I've done similar pulls.

Your not even required to install conduit. That is what direct burial cable is for. I would just be sure to follow the rules of 300.5 or 300.50 which ever is applicable.
