Underground splice for post lights

So here's my situation. I've got an upcoming residential job where I will have to remove an outdoor post light but will have to splice the existing UF wiring going to that light so all the other post lights will continue to work. My question is, what would be the best way to make that underground splice to be code compliant? This is not under concrete or anything, just need to directly bury under the ground. What have you all done in the past with this situation and what type of splice kit/direct burial box have you all used, but still did it in such a way that the splice is still accessible?
