Chapter 12 of NFPA 409 states that unfueled aircraft hangars must follow chapter 5 except as modified in Chapter 12.
5.7.2 states,
Chapter 12 does not reference the hangar door power source, so does this requirement apply?
I'm also having trouble interpreting the requirement itself. Does this mean that you either need a separate service for the hangar doors or an extra set of disconnects to ensure the hangar and doors can be shut off separately?
Or is it just clarifying that the doors need to be on dedicated breakers?
