Showing only a symbol and it says 120v. No amperage( I have no panel schedule or equipment schedule). So I guess it could be either a 250v or 600v disconnect!!?? Trying to narrow it down so I can qualify accordingly what I have figured. I don't think I ever seen a disconnect switch fed from a 1P-20A circuit. Thanks.

Can you follow the wire to the unit? The disconnect should be in sight of the equipment.

It is within sight. it actually does say circuit 41. so I'm going to assume a 1P 20A CB feeding it. But I would need a 30A disconnect, correct?

I would just use a toggle switch type Manual Motor Starter, in fact I would get one that uses a heater element since you know nothing about the equipment yet. If you end up not needing the heater element, just install one that's bigger than necessary. If you do need it, you don't have to buy a different switch.

Get an amp meter and get reading as it starts and then runs. That will tell you where to go from there.

The OP said that he's reading this info on a print, you're assuming that it's already in place.
