Just a quick (maybe) question regarding 200.2 (B) and an inspection I had this morning. We installed a 200 amp SE rated ATS and separated the neutrals and grounds in the MDP. In the course of the inspector looking things over, he began to question the fact that I now had a 4-wire system from ATS to the MDP. He did not like the grounding conductor bonded to neutral bar in the ATS, nor did he consent to the fact that one of my new grounding bars was tied to the grounding conductor through the mounting screws, and not a continuous conductor between the two bars. His contention was that the enclosure was no longer allowed to act a connecting point and my stance was that was applicable to the grounded conductor. He signed off on the installation, giving me the "benefit of the doubt" for now and would get back to me on a code reference. Am I missing something or is he inadvetantly applying 200.2 (B) The continuity of the grounded conductor shall not depend on a connection to a metallic enclosure, raceway, or cable armor.?

Install overview=Existing meter base feeding 3-wire service entrance to new SE rated ATS with new 4-wire feeder supplying existing MDP, bonding screw removed and grounding conductors relocated to new ground bars.

As always, thanks.
