I have been asked to find in the UFC where it prohibits the use of 12AWG stranded wire in a medical facility. I cant find it anywhere.
I have searched mostly UFCs 3-501-01, 3-520-01, and 4-510-01
Any help would be appreciated.
Please give the UFC and section.

I could not find it either. What makes you think that this is a requirement for your project?

I don't think that it is a UFC requirement, but I do think that the requirement shows up in the UFGS (Unified Facilities Guide Specifications). Most DoD reviewers are used to looking in the UFGS for additional requirements, so it may just be a requirement that they are used to having that may or may not apply to your project (depending if the UFGS were part of the RFP, usually called out in Attachment K, or not).
