A client is building a skid with two dual compressor air cooled water chillers. These will serve a single load. The question regards the tag with Running Load Amps, Maximum Fuse Size and Minimum Circuit Amps. Should the skid have one tag for the entire unit, separate tags for the two chillers or both individual unit tags and skid tag?

There will be a circuit breaker for the entire unit feeding individual CBs for each chiller system.

I don't know if this matters or not, but in case it does:

Is he making this for his own use from two commercial products, or is he the "manufacturer" of this new single skid product?

For the field connection which is a single point IMO it should be calculated and labeled based on the entire load of the equipment.
