Greetings all,
I feel dumb asking this question having been in the business for almost 40 years, but I have a designation on a set of blueprints that I am not able to decipher. Please see attached picture. What do the letters DBA and # inside the hexagonal beside the conduit line represent?
Any help greatly appreciated. Thank you so much.

I would say check the legends and symbol section.

the symbol seems it refers you to specific drawing. Maybe the conduit Are in ductbank, And there are more detail in that section about the ductbank

Yeah, “Duct Bank A” Would be my interpretation too, although I would have denoted it as “DB-A” They are showing you that the conduits are going to be numbered as shown, and located in Duct Bank A. You may have never seen it before because being that organized about conduit locations and numbering is not as common as it probably should be.

But absolutely, check the legend sheet to be sure
