I posted yesterday for a panel upgrade .Let me explain further . There is a existing 100amp service in a front house and a 30amp subpanel in a back apartment. The back apartment now needs a 200amp subpanel for a photo studio. The studio needs 16,000watts of lighting and a 4 ton unit AC unit . What size new main service is needed to feed the house and apartment:? The house is 1700sq. ft. and the apartment is 800sq.ft. and there is a place for a washer and dryer in the apartment .There is no range. I come up with a 250amp main and a 200amp subpanel is this correct or do I need to raise it to 300amp. Also is the depth or PVC or rigid pipe 18in. under the driveway that's what is in 300.5
