UPS Grounding

I would like to know what any one has to offer in the information of what is the criteria for grounding of UPS systems used in computer systems for a D3 system (IE Modicon. Is this suppose to be isolated or not. IE 645.15 says yes but are there circumstances that you do not? Please advise and thank you

I assume this is not a plug and cord UPS system. If that assumption is true, then you treat it just like any SDS sytem or isolation transformer. The requirements are outlined in 250.30

645.15 pertains to self contained UPS system built into the equipment like a 400Hz converter.
