I am installing a UPS system in an existing building. They want to control two exterior lighting circuits with it.The two lighting circuits I need to control are sharing a neutral with a third circuit.
Here is the problem:The manual that comes with the UPS says that the input and output neutral cannot be connected together. The UPS is a non-isolated unit.
Does this mean that the neutral output of the UPS has to be isolated from the other lighting circuit neutral?
I have a feeling I am going to have to seperate out that third lighting circuit from the other two to make this work.
Any ideas?
