Upside-down Service Panel?

Spec'd unit's (QO132M100C) approved for this, at least according to what's printed on the carton.

Job is an upgrade to larger panel (located in an interior room) where service conduit comes up from crawlspace. Putting service buss @ bottom seems practical though unusual.

As long as panel is at prescribed height, is upside-down installation problematic?

Since this is not a how to I will allow this post-- Panels may be installed upside down as long as the main breaker turn on and off to the sides rather than top to bottom.

Most manufacturers have gone to a main breaker that operates horizontally many years ago - at least in "load center" panels and this has made it so the main can be on top or bottom and many are even marked to indicate that either end can be the top. Even many three pole mains that operate vertically can be turned upside down in the panel and used for bottom feed applications.

I wish they would make Type 3R panels with a reversible interior so they can be "bottom feeders".
