I have a very large aquarium tank that will be used by divers. The equipment feeding the tank is located throughout the four floors of the building. Does the #8 bonding conductor need to be upsized for voltage drop? My thinking is that the purpose of this conductor is to ensure no person can touch two surfaces with different voltages at the same time. Since the voltage drop across this distance would be negligible, the conductor does not need to be upsized.
If it does, how would one go about calculating the required conductor size?
