Looking for a product that is a wall mount USB/Duplex combo that can conceal itself similar to those seen in auditorium/conference-room desks.

Trying to get some device charging locations for customers on a few coffee shop projects. Proposed location shown in pink.

Typical floor mount option.

Typical desk mount option.

Has anyone seen heard of such a product that can be wall mounted? Also would there be any code violations for mounting a desk one vertically? Guessing the wall mount ones could be an issue because its cord plug and plug would be concealed?

Bench structure will be permanent. I anticipate conductors will be ran underground and up wall to device. Are you suggesting it should be modified to be hardwired instead of cord plug?
Not understanding you. Why does the receptacle have to be concealed (hidden). Why can't it be just a standard wall receptacle? If these are for use by customers, I doubt that they will ever be closed back up. Besides, if they are concealed who will know they are there?

What's this about cord plug?

The adorne pop-out outlet isn’t available with a USB option. Also, just as an FYI, you cannot gang that device unless you specifically order with the 2-gang frame. Not that anyone asked, just mentioning for anyone that sees this and wants to use it.

I would install a regular duplex/USB receptacle in that location.

Is that a prefabricated decor wall? I do quite a bit of this type of work, and you can have the furniture builder install a box at the factory with greenfield attached to make it easier for the electrician. We usually just install an A/A combo, but some request A/C USB combination.

I’m unaware of any wall-mount receptacle that meets your specification.

You wouldn’t be able to use a cord-and-plug type concealed in a wall. We run a PVC under the slab to decor wall and transition to flex directly to the box if it’s a factory built wall. If it’s built in place, we would take the conduit all the way to the box.
