use of FMC to feed sub panel

I am installing a new panel in my house and want to install a 100 amp single phase breaker in my old panel as a "main" and use FMC to feed my new panel which is about 10 feet away. I'm installing the new panel around the corner from my old panel to make room for an addition to the house in the future. anyone see any problems with this?

As long as the properly sized FMC contains an EGC and is properly supported it would be code compliant. Running FMC around a corner might not be so pretty.
