I am looking for any reason you can not use standard steel mc in a pharmaceutical lab. Is there a reason hospital grade would be required? It is not a patient care facility.

If it is not in the classified area there should nothing prohibiting it. Within the envelope of the sterile (class 100?) area would probably be a different story.

Being concealed behind the walls would keep it out of the envelope of the clean space would you not agree. All electrical boxes are sealed behind the wall. Would this not work for a class 100?
