--what are the restrictions on using EMT for an equipment grounding conductor?
--I have an EMT run with set screw die cast couplings and one connector , one raintight coupling and one raintight connector going to the roof. I put ground bushings on each side and attached the proper size wire according to the equipment ground table in 250. where i used a raintight coupling i bonded both sides of the pipe with listed pipe clamps and proper size wire to ensure bonding.
--This pipe run is for an air conditioner on top of the roof. are there any faults in my set up? if so what, and how to correct it.
--....reason for all this is because the pipe run is to small for an equipment ground conductor to be ran with the ungrounded conductors.
