I am looking at a 400a 480v service . The GEC comes from the electrode(ufer) up into the CT can which then bonds the service raceways(paralleled) and connects to the CT can with a lug and then continues on to the service disconnect and bonds the neutral and equip. grnds in the normal fashion. The GEC is 4/0 cu so the size of the bonding jumper is not a concern. I could not find anything in the NEC that would prohibit using this conductor as a bonding jumper for the supply side as long as it is of sufficient size and attached to the grounded conducter. I have always used the grounded conductor to bond the CT can on the supply side. Anybody see a problem with this install?
