Using medium voltage cable in low voltage application

I have some 5kv cable that I want to use in a 480V application. Can I take credit for the higher current rating for the cable in the low voltage application? For example, the code says for <2000 volt cable a 750 MCM 90 degree triplex cable in conduit ampacity is 535 amps. A 5kv triplex cable rated at 90 degrees in conduit ampacity is 600 amps.

My guess is you at least need to use 310.15(16) for termination temp and 75C values for most applications, but if you need to apply ampacity adjustments you possibly can do so starting at the 600 amp level.
