Just looking for info on the Utah Master exam. I think the test is administered by Experior. Are all tests the same? Also looking for study guides.
Thanks, Jeff

Jeff,

Two part test. Legal section and code. Experior is testing agency. Recommend getting a copy of the "Utah Contractor's Reference Manual" by Experior. Good luck.

Ton of work will get you a pound of luck.

Thank you for your reply. I was told that it was 3 parts. Code, theory, & practical (hands on: wiring, conduit bending, etc.) I will definetely look for the book.
Thanks again,
Jeff

Recommend getting a copy of the "Utah Contractor's Reference Manual" by Experior.

This manual is for the Utah State Contractors Exam, not for the Utah Master Electricians Exam. In Utah a person must have a Master Electrician's license before you can obtain an Electrical contractors license.

Jeff the test is administed by Thomson Prometric.

HERE is a link to the State of Utah DOPL and the candidate bulletin. This bulletin contains the layout for all of the tests that the state has for electricians licenses.

I clicked on the link, and read the note on the bottom of page 4

Note; Candidates must pass all three parts to pass the examination. Beginning 01/01/06, the Practical Examination will be a hands on test. beginning 08/01/06 exams will cover the 2005 Electrical Code.

My bad on the Masters vs Contractors licensure.
