There is a tunnel between school buildings that all utilities run through that is about 4' wide and tall and has a concrete floor. Where in the code would I find what type of lighting fixture is acceptable for this location?

See Art 100 definitons for location-damp, wet etc. In my area underground tunnels would be considered a wet location, in Arizona they would be considered dry. Once you determine the enviroment select a suitable fixture and wiring method.
