If there are (3) 15kv copper 2/0 conductors being run along a building in 4" RGS could some savings be gained by either running PVC or aluminum conductors?

Both are design questions and not code issues. I don't like the idea of exposed PVC conduit and 15kV cables, but the code permits it. There would be cost savings with both of the proposed changes.
