anyone know where i could find this kind of device that would fit into a normal switch box? architect didn't like the 3-speed factory fan control. i tried the local supply house and they sent one that was rated 6A FLA-16A LRA, and was just a speed control, so it needed an on-off switch also. so i figured i'd ask you folks before i go back to the supply house.....

Does the motor have three seperate conductors for each speed, or just one set, and the controller happened to be three speed?
In any event, the Fantech RPE15 is the only thing I know about that will handle 12 amps. It looks like a heat-sink style dimmer.

I actually had one of those fan speed controls handy here. The OEM is a company called KB Electronics. They have a much bigger selection of them:
