Engineer looking to go to 350KW genset from this 750. Would have to reduce switchboard and loads obviously, correct? Thanks

Not necessarily. The generator will have a breaker. The loads need to be less that the 350KW, but what you sent doesn't really represent what the loads are. Many times the biggest issue is the HVAC all wanting to start up at the same time. It isn't uncommon to put delay timing scheme on HVAC to prevent this allowing for a smaller generator.

My guess is that they're eliminating the optional standby loads therefore reducing the generator size. The other loads cannot be eliminated.
