Vermont Test Question

I can't seem to find the answer to this question. How many #14 THHN's can you put in a 3/8" FMC? In the back of the code book the FMC only goes down to 1/2". Answers are 1,2,3 or 4. Thank you!

See Table 348.22, and then tell me if you think it's a fair question (unless you've left out some pertinent info. ).

yes this is the answer ive been looking for. The question does say that there is a fitting inside the conduit, therfore the answer would be 3 conductors. Thank you very much, your awesome!!!

I would say the answer is 4 conductors. You are permitted to add one covered or bare EGC of the same size. Look at the asterisk on the bottom of the table.

The question is somewhat poorly written.
