I read that the boom tugger can extend to 20 feet...at its full extended length would the pulling force decrease?

Does it typically come with two ten foot lengths of 3.5 inch rigid? Or are the lengths of pipe shorter than ten feet a piece

They're shorter than 10' but we extend them by replacing the factory booms with 3" RMC of varying lengths up to 10'.

If I understand correctly how it operates, the maximum pulling torque as determined by the motor torque and the winding drum diameter will not change with boom extension, but the maximum pulling tension before you break the unit or tip it over will decrease as the boom length is increased (to the extent that the pulling force is perpendicular rather than parallel to the boom.
 
Years ago, I used a similar tugger to pull a feeder to a new kitchen in the basement of a church. The tugger began bending the bottom of the panel upward, so I stopped and cut a piece of 2x4 with a V-notch in one end to put between the tip of the tugger and the end of the conduit. Worked like a charm.

We replace the factory sections with up to full 10' lengths of RMC when you need to pull a long length of conductor out for the terminations or when a pull point is very high up above the floor. We also use shorter lengths of RMC as shown in the photo when needed.
