So what the difference between the two....clad and the copper column. The last column requires supporting much less. Thanks.

At the same actual wire gauge, copper-clad aluminum is much lighter per foot than copper.

Weight.

Aluminum has 61 percent of the conductivity of copper, but has only 30 percent of the weight of copper. That means that a bare wire of aluminum weighs half as much as a bare wire of copper that has the same electrical resistance.

The last column, solid copper conductors, requires more support than AL or CCA. For example, 2/0 AL requires support a minimum of every 180' - 2/0 Cu requires support every 80'. A 170' run of 2/0 Al would require one vertical support whereas Cu would require 3 vertical suports.

I'm going to guess he meant "much less spacing", which is the same as "more support". I don't know if he was tapping on his phone, but that seems to be a major culprit these days with regard to reduced clarity in communication.
