Running 100 feet of 3 Conductor 250MCM 5KV cable in a vertical cable tray. What would be the spacing for supports? Planning on using cable cleats that clamp the cable. Table 300.19(A) addresses single conductor. Should I use the 750MCM for the total weight using a 40 foot spacing?

What type of cable is being used? MC, Tray Cable, other?

I am also wondering how to go about vertical supporting requirements for multiconductor cable. I am looking an older power plant and have a wide variety of cables. Some quick examples are a 1-4/C-8 & 2/C-4 cable, and a 1-7/C-12 cable. In these two examples the cables are going about 27-30', any thoughts on how to determine the maximum spacing for supports?
