veternary xray machine

Has anyone had any experience with the Digita Vet Dx xray machine?
The only info i have is 240 volts and the specs say Constant power ratings 40 kw.
I hope this is not correct.Is this what i have to size the circuit.
Any help will be appreciated.

Probably correct. The X-ray machine I had to pull power to called for a min. 150amp circ. The mach. hardly draws any thing while not in use but for that short period when they fire it off it has a good draw on it.
You would be looking at running a 175amp circ. unless you find instructions that differ.
