Does anyone know if a vet clinic with exam rooms falls under the health care section of the NEC. Ie, requiring medical grade wiring etc.

Also, there is a surgery area in this clinic, I doubt a emergency power system is required, but will hospital grade receptacles?

I guess what im really asking is where do you draw the line between a doggie doctor and a human doctor.

I think the purpose of hospital grade receptacles is to prevent someone on anesthesia from putting an object in the receptacle etc, I couldn't see a animal doing that.

We done some work in one where every thing was in one room. It was a mess. They had dogs laying on the floor. But I guess that is kind of natural if you think about it.
